Company

Built after watching an audit nearly go wrong.

Kmetog builds compliance operations software for regulated businesses that do not have, and should not need, a full compliance department.

The controls had mostly been done. The proof had not been kept. That gap cost a small company a month.

Kmetog started with a week most compliance people will recognise. A small regulated company had an audit coming. Its team was capable and had followed most of its policies, but nobody had recorded the proof. So the week before the auditors arrived was spent digging through months of logs, screenshots and emails to rebuild evidence that should have existed all along.

The problem was never awareness. They knew exactly what the frameworks required. What they lacked was time to run every check on schedule, capture the evidence when it happened and chase every failed control until it was fixed.

Tools that watch for requirements did not help, because they handed the work straight back. We set out to build something that does the work: runs the checks, writes the evidence and follows up on the gaps, so a small team can stay audit ready without hiring a department to do it.

What we hold to

Three principles behind every feature.

01

Compliance work executed, not just tracked.

A reminder that a review is overdue does not help a team with no time to do it. Kmetog is built to perform the check, not to add another item to the list.

02

Evidence generated as you go, not reconstructed later.

Proof is most reliable at the moment a control is tested. We capture it then, sealed and timestamped, so audit week is a download rather than an investigation.

03

Every failed control followed to closure, not forgotten.

Findings that sit in a spreadsheet for a year are the ones that fail the next audit. A gap in Kmetog stays open, owned and visible until a re-test proves it is fixed.
